What is Asserta?
Asserta is an AI-powered QA knowledge base and test case generator for web applications. It helps teams capture product behavior once, verify it with a human, and reuse that knowledge to generate test cases, edge cases, negative paths, and product scenarios.
How does Asserta generate test cases?
Asserta generates test cases from a verified knowledge base of your product. A person walks through the real UI, describes each element and flow, confirms the behavior, and Asserta uses that approved product knowledge to generate relevant QA scenarios.
Is Asserta only for QA teams?
No. QA teams use Asserta to generate test cases, but developers, product managers, new hires, and support teams can reuse the same product knowledge base to understand flows, validate scenarios, and answer product behavior questions.
Does Asserta replace QA engineers?
No. Asserta is designed to support QA engineers, not replace them. A human verifies product behavior before it enters the knowledge base. QA teams stay in control of what Asserta knows and what test cases are accepted.
Does Asserta work with web applications?
Yes. Asserta currently supports web applications. Mobile application support is planned on the roadmap.
Can Asserta be deployed on-premise?
Yes. Asserta can be deployed on-premise or in the cloud. On-premise customers can use bring-your-own-LLM so product knowledge stays inside their own infrastructure.
Does product data leave our infrastructure?
For on-premise deployments with bring-your-own-LLM, product knowledge does not need to leave your infrastructure.
What makes Asserta different from generic AI test generators?
Generic AI test generators often create tests from prompts. Asserta first builds a human-verified knowledge base of your actual product behavior, then generates test cases from that verified source.
